Still kicking. I'm crazy behin on my nephew's costume. My sister and nephew just left. I thought making the heads was hard. Getting the heads fastened on and keeping them upright is much, much harder. I haven't even started painting the faces yet. A few of my OA friends have said they can't wait for Halloween to be over so I'll shut up about the costumes.
I have been lurking in your archives (Whatever it Takes) all this week and most of last week.
You helped me a lot - with all your old posts.
I found much to comfort me - that I was not alone in my challenges.
I was amazed at how many things we had in common.
I love your writing - lots of heart, to the point, easy to read, honest.
You seem to be one of the valued ones where what you post is true.
I totally get that people do not post everything in their lives. But I value the people that share the good, the bad (and sometimes the ugly).
Today was an ugly post day for me.
Having a terrible time getting medicine regulated.
I started reading you because of a note on AFG where you mentioned yoga.
I was the one that Anne mentioned doing 90 minutes a day.
She miss spoke - it was 60 minutes a day (most days) with a few 90 minutes here and there.
Ironically, in the short time that passed - I am now not able to do yoga. I went from daily to zip.
Part of this is because of meds.
Part of it is because at yoga it is just me and my mat - and right now I can't stand the "me".

And yes, I went back to your first post and read it all - in order - it gave me something to think about and do - instead of eat.

Hi Chick.
Well Halloween is over, now we are on to the stressful Thanksgiving feast! Hahaa, crazy how fast this time came.
Anyhow, just wanted to tell you THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for checking in on me and praying for me. How this means the World to me.
And you, keep close during the Holidays , I know you will. I hope your Halloween was splendid. I was thinking about the type of costumes I grew up with, all plastic. Crazy to see how intricate they are getting now, I love it!
