The second tornado warning in one hour drove me away from my desk. The first one everyone kind of ignored, but the second wave was hard to ignore as the wind blew the rain so hard agained the windows all I could see was a frothy white. Everyone working late on a Friday night wandered into the lunch room.
I've just finished setting my email and voicemail up to tell people I'm on vacation next week. I'm taking off five days to help my sister. Mostly I'll be entertaining my middle nephew, Monkey.
I think a third tornado siren is going off. Damn, I was about to head home. I didn't do a random music friday today. I meant too, I just never got around to putting my headphones on.
I've been meaning to look something up since Wednesday evening. Hold on...
I got nothing. Why would someone really into Nietzsche take a vow of silence? I saw Little Miss Sunshine Wednesday with Karen and ksl. It is my new favorite movie.
I saw your sushi costume in a google search and I was wondering how you made the foam rice? I want to make a simialr costume for my daughter. Thanks!

Sorry I didn't respond. I spaced out. I posted the answer on your second comment. Hope it helps. Maybe I'll post part of it here too:
I made the foam rice out of the same foam I used for the rest of the costume. I cut it out, like whittling with scissors. Unfortunately the foam oxidizes quickly, so I had to spray paint them all white. I can't think of any better materials though, because it was easy to cut and very light weight. I used an all-purpose craft glue (the stuff in the gold bottle), I considered using a special foam glue, but I was attaching the pieces to fabric, so I didn't think there would be much benefit. Most of the pieces stayed on fine. Some fell off, I don't know if there is a better glue for the purpose.
