I'm crazy busy at work. Yes, I'm working at work. Overtime even. This is starting to become a habit. Yes I agree, long overdue.
Here is my random list. I broke the rules (no skipping) because two of the iTrip station setting tracks came up. The tracks are 3 seconds long and take 10 times that to document. Plus, after the first time it gets really boring. I swear, those are the only tunes I've skipped on my Friday Shuffle:
- Plain Tiger - Cocteau Twins (Tiny Dynamine)
- I'll be Glad When You're Dead, You Rascal You - Louis Armstrong (1928-1931)
- Bridal Dancing Queen - Wedding Band (Muriel's Wedding Soundtrack)
- What Do I Get? - The Buzzcocks (Singles Going Steady)
- Pass the Dutchie - Various Artists (Reggae Pulse)
- Float On - Modest Mouse (Good News For People Who Like Bad News)
- Low Key Lightly - George Fenton (Living Out Loud Soundtrack)
- Some Fantastic - Barenaked Ladies (Stunt)
- Walking the Long Miles Home - Richard Thompson (Mock Tudor)
- Feels Like A Woman - Zucchero (French Kiss Soundtrack)
Fav tune - Float On - I keep thinking I'll get sick of this song, but so far I haven't. This song is one of my ring tones. Nobody seems to recognize it. I thought this song was in the mainstream now.
Fav Album - Mock Tudor - I only discovered Richard Thompson about five years ago. Love this album. I'm thinking about the first time I listened to it. I was at work and had purchased on my lunch hour. I spent the afternoon blown away. I think I heard of him listening to a rock and roll talk show, I can picture the guys, but can't remember their names. I've seen them on Chicago tonight.
Best Title - I'll be Glad When You're Dead, You Rascal You - I think this is the second time this song has appeared in my Random Music Friday.
