- Haven't Got Time For The Pain - Carly Simon (Reflections: Carly Simon's Greatest Hits)
- Your Winter - Sister Hazel (10 Things I hate About You Soundtrack)
- File Me Away - Badly Drawn Boy (About a Boy Soundtrack)
- 90.1 - Griffin Technology - iTrip
- You Don't Have to Be Strong - Breanna (Breanna - EP)
- Tear Stained Letter - Johnny Cash (American IV: The Man Comes Around)
- Later Tonight - Pet Shop Boys (Please)
- Pictures - Statler Brothers (The Best of the Statler Brothers)
- Suedehead - Morrissey (Viva Hate)
Non-song - 90.1 is one of the station-setting files for use with iTrip.
Involuntary Download - I don't remember downloading this song. Sometimes these free download songs just seem to show up in my library. Anyone else experience this? I think I should get tougher about deleting songs I don't like.
Favorite tune - Sentimental Favorite - Pictures ties with Later Tonight. Both take me back to a specific time in my life
Favorite Album - Viva Hate. I love this album and this song. Morrissey and the Smiths just reach into my guts and take hold. It's the same now as when I was an angst-rid teen. I really want a turntable.
General Memory - Right after I bought American IV I loaned it to a friend. Tao was as enthusiast as me about the album and summed it up beatifully, "This album is awesome! I'm going to go kill myself now." The content and pace are overwhelming as a whole. Now when I hear this album I thing of Tao and giggle.
Marisa has a great list of other people doing Random Music Friday. It's fun to see what people have to say aobut the songs that show up.
