Happy Winter Solstice to those in the Northern Hemisphere! I love this day because it means that everyday from now until the Summer Solstice the daylight stays just a little bit longer. Those of us with seasonal sensitive depression know how important this is to our general state of wellness.
Happy Yule greetings to the pagans among us. I love to hear about those nutty Christian activists fighting to keep Christmas symbols like trees, wreaths, holly, and mistletoe in government and public locations. Pagan traditions all, along with the December 25th date.
I love the traditions. I've been unexcited by Christmas this year. Today I feel a bit more of the old excitement. Maybe I'll wrap some presents tonight.
