iPod fun

Inspired by Ken at Gaper's Blog (friend of fits) and Marisa at Apartment 2024 who posts random iPod lists every Friday, I'm listening to the first thirteen songs that play in shuffle. Here are the rules per Marisa:

"The rules are simple, set your digital music device to random/shuffle and report back the first ten songs it spits out, no skipping, omitting, hedging or justifying."

Rules by Ken:

"…put your iPod (or other Mp3 player) on shuffle and list the first 13 tracks in order, no editing, if Ashley Simpson comes up, you have to list it. Just for kicks, list your model and how many songs are on your player."

I have a 30GB iPod Photo with 2991 songs on it. Here are the first thirteen songs:

  1. Still Thrives This Love - k.d. lang
  2. I'm Never Bored - The Walkmen (ick)
  3. Red Light Fever - Liz Phair
  4. Tequila/Sinful Samba (Medley) - David Hirschfeilder And The B…( Couldn't see the whole name, it's from Strictly Ballroom)
  5. If I can't Have You - Bee Gees
  6. My Dog - Saigon Kick
  7. Burrito - Pete Yorn
  8. Material Girl - Madonna
  9. Don't Pass Me By - The Beatles
  10. Oh Yeah - Yello
  11. Wings Of A Dove - Madness
  12. Buffalo Soldier - Bob Marley & The Wailers
  13. Cold Feet - Tracy Chapman

Okay, except for Siagon Kick that was pretty excellent. I cheated on Saigon Kick, I skipped it. I also found The Walkmen song a bit annoying. I haven't listened to k.d. for a while, I'll have to remedy that tomorrow.

Okay, what does your MP3 player give you on shuffle?
